What is my student ID number?

Your Student ID Number

Student ID numbers are very important to your success at Cape Fear Community College.  It is a 7 digit unique identifying number assigned to you at your time of application.  This number enables you to register and request information without being required to divulge your Social Security number.  You may hear your student ID referred to as College ID, or just simply ID number.

If you have gotten a Cape Fear picture identification card, your number is printed on the front of the card.  Cape Fear ID cards should be carried with you at all times.  It is also printed at the bottom of many of the letters you receive from the College.  Student ID numbers are printed on your registration statements (class schedule), bills, and receipts, both in printed and WebAdvisor formats.

Lastly, Student Development will be glad to provide your student ID number to you as long as you have a picture ID with you.
