Applying to Cape Fear Community College
If an applicant intends to pursue a degree, diploma, or certificate at CFCC, the College requires a completed admissions application, official transcripts from all institutions attended, and placement testing unless the student qualifies for a waiver. Some certificate programs, however, do not require transcripts and/or placement testing. Students wishing to take classes for personal enrichment or enjoyment need only to submit an admissions application.
Applications for admissions can be completed online. Applications will be transmitted electronically within 24 hours, and applicants will receive a confirmation email indicating that the transmission was successful. A follow-up letter with the applicant’s student ID will be mailed in approximately two weeks. Applicants can then check their admission status online using the student ID.
